Stiff hands caused by typing

How can I treat my hands from getting stiff because of typing?

As with any physical movement, too much can cause strain. With Typesy, you should never be typing long enough to cause issues, but it is important to maintain proper posture when typing. Make sure you are sitting with your feet flat on the floor and your back straight. Shoulders should be relaxed and elbows bent no tighter than 90°. Always check that you are holding your wrists in a neutral position, with the thumb running parallel to the forearm, the wrist bending only slightly upwards. If you feel your wrists hitting the keyboard or desk, you should reposition. Remember to take typing breaks if your hands feel stiff. During those breaks, stretch the muscles in your hands and fingers.

Be well!
