110 WPM but not using all my fingers

I have a very good typing speed but I am not using all my fingers when Typing that is why I bought Typesy. Will this program help?

Hi Tatiana,

Many people are also in the hesitant to relearn typing using the touch typing method because they are afraid they might not reach the same typing speed that they have using hunt-and-peck.

For me, it’s fine whatever you use on those two methods but still, touch typing is the standard method. You’ll never know which one is better for you unless you try. So if you have spare time, you may also try it. Besides, learning touch typing has also lots of benefits.

For easier and faster learning, you may also use some resources online such as Typesy. It is designed to help you lean the 10 finger typing or touch typing.

HI Tatiana,

In general, the average typist can type 41 WPM; typing at or above 57 WPM is deemed above average. It is important to note that a high WPM with low accuracy is not a desirable goal; the amount of time needed to correct typing errors should be taken into account when testing a true WPM. Hopefully your accuracy is as good as your speed!
