My goal is to reach 50 WPM but only 30 WPM was advised when I started.
As a starting goal. You can change it once you have reached 30 WPM.

Starting with a smaller goal will ensure you focus on all of the right things! Remember that keyboarding ability is measured in both speed and accuracy. Typing speed is measured in the total amount of words per minute (WPM) written; accuracy is measured as a percentage of words typed correctly or incorrectly. It is important to note that a high WPM with low accuracy is not a desirable goal; the amount of time needed to correct typing errors should be taken into account when testing a true WPM. If you try to reach your goal of 50 WPM too fast, you may find you sacrifice accuracy to reach that speed goal.
Reach that 30 WPM goal first, throw yourself a little celebration, and then forge on to pushing for 50!
You’ll have to come back and let us know when you’ve mastered the skill - we’re rooting for you!
