What is the suitable age to start learning how to touch type?

I bought Typesy for my child but not sure if this is right, he is still 8 years old.

Yes. If you do not learn the right typing skills at a young age in life, it can seem like a daunting task to jump in and learn how to type correctly. However, it is well worthwhile to take the time to learn. Your typing accuracy, efficiency, and speed will all increase by learning to type with all your fingers than if you continue to hunt and peck.

Hi Chaya,

8 years old is a great age to start learning touch typing with Typesy. Practicing good keyboarding skills is good for any age, but it is recommended to start students no earlier than age 7 to allow for full development of the motor skills necessary. I would say go for it!
