As someone who depends on income from remote work, I can confidently tell you there are plenty of opportunities out there. If you have a flare for writing, look into creating content - company websites, social media accounts, blogs, etc. all requite content to be written, so there’s nothing stopping you from being one of the people who writes it!
If you are more interested in work that involves typing as the core competency, look into transcription services. You would listen and type audio to provide a text copy for a visual/audio file. This type of work covers a range of applications - from developing movie subtitles to transcribing speeches - so you could look into specific jobs that appeal to your interests.
