Who is better typist, men or women?
Apparently, factors such as profession and lifestyle affect a person’s typing efficiency more than gender ever will. A programmer or data entry employee, for instance, is someone who is expected to have lightning fast typing efficiency, which is something they learn and improve on with practice.

The better typist will always be the one who has dedicated the most time to practicing good typing habits, regardless of gender. It’s true that some careers requiring strong typing skills skew male, but this relates to the societal career gap between the genders rather than an innate ability. If simply looking to learn how to touch type, one’s gender will have no influence whatsoever.
