Why do some older people have trouble typing when there was typewriters?

Maybe because they are not that exposed to computer jobs and many tasks were done manually unlike now that almost everything is done on the computer.

Hi Elaine,
Computers have many keys that are needed by a computer only. As such, those keys were absent from a typewriter keyboard, like the delete key. Do you remember using the white tape to fix your mistakes? 
Typing on a typewriter also had a different feel and rhythm. Sometimes retraining our brain takes time. You can do it!
