Other typing games

Why is Typesy better than those other simple online typing games?

Hi!

While these web games are often free and accessible to any student anywhere, they have serious drawbacks in terms of limited pedagogical design, inflexible exercise materials, IT network burden, and ad-based business models.

Hello, @ginamilne!

There are plenty of features to love, but for me the deciding factor to go with Typesy relied on two key pieces: adaptability and privacy.

The program adapts to the skills and deficits of each learner, so I know myself and my students will be learning at a pace perfect for individual needs. I really appreciate this feature of Typesy.

Secondly, consider your online privacy, too! For typing programs delivered through the internet, even if the program is free to use, you’re likely paying by offering up your data to the site. Typesy does not allow advertising on the platform, so you can be sure your activity is safe. No unwanted ads will be popping up while you work, and your data is kept secure and private. I mention only if this should be something important to you.

Hope that helps!
