Hi,
For content guidance, you may check Common Core Standard for each grade level here: (insert image from the email)Best Regards,

Hello, @arjunknights!
The common core standards do not really specify how to teach keyboarding or which skills should be earned by which grade. The standards are meant to be open guidelines rather than prescriptions.
What the standards do dictate is that keyboarding is deemed an essential skill. As the world continues to rely more heavily on technology, the ability to type has now become a necessary skill for any and all entering the 21st-century workforce.
The common core standards may not give you a roadmap to teaching typing, but luckily there are programs like Typesy, designed to ensure your learners meet and exceed the standards set for them. Typesy has over 2,500 common-core standards-based lessons, so your students will be learning to type while engaging in fun, differentiated lessons in science, social studies, ELA, and math.
