The program is restarting my kids progress. Is there a setting I can change so that it will not do that. Or should they start from the very beginning again?

They might be in a different curriculum. Can you check which curriculum they’ve made progress so far? To check the progress they made, please go to Class > Select Class > Report > Change Dashboard to Individual Student Performance.
In the student’s view, to see if the student account is in the right curriculum, please go to Courses > My Curriculum > Select Curriculum from the pop-up window.
