# Speed of 20 WPM

It depends on your typing goal. A fifth grader is expected to learn to type 20 WPM with 90% accuracy. In general, the average typist can type 41 WPM. Typing at or above 57 WPM is deemed above average.

If you continue to practice, you can set higher goals and improve both your WPM and your accuracy. We believe you can keep advancing!
