# I Wanna Try Self Learning

Can I learn typing on my own if I did not buy Typesy?

Hi there,

Yes it’s fine but you need to search for resources to learn touch typing because there is a particular finger for each keys. If you will not learn this, you will adapt the hunt-and-peck typing.

Hi Ansh,

They key is to practice a little every day. Improvement will come over time. Your brain needs the time and practice to create muscle memory. With Typesy, since each lesson is customized to its learner, the length of time needed for mastery varies. Typesy is designed to monitor each student’s progress and adapt to their skill level. Keep practicing!
