I am curious of aside from increased typing speed, does typing give other benefits such as the coordination of the body?

Hi Tessa,

If you have difficulty with coordination, learning to type will be challenging at first. But practicing typing will actually improve your hand-eye coordination across the board. As you get better at typing, you may even get better at throwing and catching!

Thanks, and I hope that helped.

Hi Tessa,

Some scientists think that touch typing can help to improve hand-eye coordination. Hand eye coordination is the ability of the body to coordinate hand movements with what the eye sees. This can have effects on many areas of life, such as sports or writing. I hope this helps!
