Yes, You can get certificate after finishing a course,
Employers might even want to ensure their employees are trained up in touch-typing due to the productivity boost it could lead to.
So I can say they will be empress if they know you are a faster typist.

Hello, @taliaoneil!

It has been a few months since you posted - how close are you to completing the course? Congratulations to you on your hard work!

Aside from whatever you need the certificate for, I would definitely add typing skills and relevant data to your resume, too! For example, if you’re truly accomplished, you would definitely want to highlight your high WPM and accuracy scores! So even though you might be learning to type just to please a current employer, the skill will absolutely transfer to any future career options!

Best of luck,
